The Ox Chair, originally crafted by Sergio Rodrigues in 1960, is a bold and expressive piece that blends comfort with character. Known for its dramatic proportions and sculptural form, the chair embodies the essence of mid-century Brazilian design—organic yet structured, raw yet refined.
In this project, our team recreated the Ox Chair using precise 3D modeling and rendering techniques. The challenge lay in capturing not only the chair’s distinctive geometry but also the tactile richness of its materials: the warmth of aged teak, the supple textures of cowhide, and the subtle sheen of vintage leather.
The result is a faithful digital representation that brings this iconic piece to life for both archival and visualization purposes. From product prototyping to promotional visuals, our render serves as a versatile asset, preserving the legacy of Rodrigues while showcasing our mastery in photorealistic furniture modeling.
